Whereas: The Iowa Democratic Party is running wild, calling for gun control bills that would destroy the Second Amendment here in Iowa, and daring gun owners to respond; and
Whereas: Their goal of repealing Stand-Your-Ground law would force Iowans to retreat from violent criminals before we could defend ourselves, or face bogus criminal charges; and
Whereas: Their goal of tracking ammunition sales, making it a crime to buy ammo privately, is clearly designed to enable eventual confiscation; and
Whereas: Their goal of passing ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ would allow liberal judges (the only kind we have) to order the seizure of our firearms before we’ve been convicted of anything; and
Whereas: There are plenty of Republican states that thought gun control could never pass in their state, until it did because gun owners did not actively oppose the Democrats gun control bills;
Therefore: As your constituent, I insist that you VOTE NO on the bills above. Iowa Gun Owners will keep me informed on your votes as we head into the 2026 midterms.
