‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ are unconstitutional because they allow liberal judges to order the seizure of our firearms before we’ve even been charged with a crime. Often, these occur through ex parte hearings that gun owners are not even allowed to attend!
Other red states have banned ‘Red Flags.’ Now it’s Iowa’s turn.
The Iowa House has passed our bill to ban ‘Red Flags’ (HF-2718) by a vote of 67-29. But the Senate killed the bill. Now the bill is coming back up, as an amendment to SF-2263.
This vote could happen at any moment.
