H.R. 7599 and S. 889 are a dream come true for Democrats. That’s because they:

- Lets judges do this in secret (ex-parte) court hearings you never know about.
- Uses the recent purchase of a gun or ammo as ‘evidence’ that you’re dangerous.
- Contains an almost automated renewal process, resulting in a de facto lifetime ban.
- Lets the government seize all your firearms, not just AR-15s or ‘scary’ looking guns.
- Allows bitter ex-spouses, bitter co-workers, and angry neighbors to ‘Red Flag’ you.
