Action Alert: HF-924 to Receive House Vote Today!

In case you missed last night’s email, there are big updates to report from Des Moines in the fight for gun rights!

HF-945, which enhances Iowa’s Stand-Your-Ground law, passed out of the House by a stunning vote of 89-6. Iowa has NEVER had a pro-gun bill pass any chamber with margins like this.

We’ll have more to say on that, and next steps now that this bill has moved to the Senate, in a future email.

(For now, we want to give a big shout out to the bill sponsor, Rep. Steve Holt, for floor managing this massive success!)

But HF-924 wasn’t voted on yesterday. But I can confirm that it’s coming up for a vote today! There will be an amendment coming today that we’re in support of.

This bill lowers the age on when an Iowan can obtain a concealed carry permit from 21 to 18, in keeping with the Second Amendment, the Bruen Decision, and common sense.

But this bill needs help…some are opposed to it.

Please quickly fire off one pre-written email to your State Representative this morning, urging him/her to VOTE YES on HF-924 when it comes up for a vote today!

>>> VOTE YES ON HF-924! <<<

We’ll be sure to update you on what happens later today via social media and email!
