Must Read: Our Letter to Senate Leader John Thune!

Big news from Washington!

With the House doing the bare minimum for gun owners in the recently passed budget bill, Iowa Gun Owners joined the American Firearms Association and dozens of state level gun rights groups to send a letter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune.

The message is simple.

It’s time for the Senate to strip the NFA of SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs, fully repeal the NFA, and Abolish the ATF — once and for all.

As you know, the House passed Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” Wednesday night, which removes suppressors from the NFA.

That was a major victory for gun owners.

But it’s not enough.

The NFA still shackles law-abiding gun owners. The ATF is still funded. And the Second Amendment is still being treated like a privilege instead of a right.

That’s why we’ve joined forces with national and state-level gun rights organizations from across America — to demand that the Senate finish the job.

Now, we need your voice to back us up.

Keep an eye on your inbox.

We’ll be launching a petition shortly, giving gun owners the chance to send a tidal wave of grassroots pressure into the Senate.

Until then, if you haven’t renewed for 2025, please do so now.

Your support gives us the strength to lead these fights and push harder than ever.

Let’s keep the pressure on!
