In fact, we had Democrats make the bill even better with amendments. This was a truly bi-partisan effort…amazing.

But you need to know that, after assigning himself as the Chairman of the Subcommittee, Senator Jason Schultz refused to hold a hearing on the bill…killing it for the time being!

Even though the bill gives us a pre-trial hearing after a shooting…even though it gives us criminal immunity to charges if we used lawful force…even though it protects us in civil court, too.

It’s critical that gun owners reach out to Senate President Amy Sinclair and Senate Majority Leader Jack Whitver, urging them to move this bill via an amendment or leadership bill!
