Democrats believe they are going to take back the U.S. House this November.
And while gun owners are comfortable with President Trump in the White House, the Democrats are already building the gun control agenda they intend to unleash when they regain power.
That’s why they are filing gun control bill after gun control bill in Congress right now. They’re showing us exactly what they want to do — and we need to take them seriously.
The latest comes from Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), who has introduced legislation to ban the sale and purchase of suppressors nationwide!

This isn’t just a ban on future sales.
Coleman’s legislation would give millions of Americans who already own suppressors just 90 days to surrender them — or face up to five years in federal prison!
Now, maybe you don’t own a suppressor.
Maybe you’ve never wanted one.
Maybe you don’t think this bill impact you.
But that would be a mistake.
The Democrats aren’t just coming after suppressors. They want to ban body armor. They want to restrict bulk ammunition purchases. They want to ban 30-round magazines. And, of course, they want to ban the AR-15s and other firearms that millions of us own.
A suppressor ban is just the beginning.
They pick one piece of the Second Amendment at a time, hoping the gun owners who aren’t affected by this particular ban will sit on the sidelines.
But eventually they’ll get to something YOU do own. Something YOU do use. Something YOU do care about.
That’s why we have to fight every one of these attacks.

Sure, Republicans control Congress right now. And I can’t see a scenario where President Trump would ever sign this garbage.
But that’s the point: we can’t wait until Democrats regain power to start fighting their agenda!
They are introducing these bills now. They are building support for them now. And if they take the House in November, they’ll be able to move fast!
We need to crush this bill now — loudly and publicly — while we have the advantage.
That means forcing every member of Congress — Republican or Democrat — to go on record against this suppressor ban before the political landscape changes.
Because we’ve seen what happens when gun owners wait. Yesterday’s radical Democrat proposal becomes tomorrow’s “compromise.” Weak-kneed Republicans start looking for a deal.
And suddenly we’re fighting legislation that everyone told us could “never pass.”
I don’t want to fight this bill after Democrats have the votes. I want to bury it before they ever get them.
