While last year’s election results here in Iowa were incredible, at the federal level, it was a mixed bag.
The good news is that gun owners took back the House (in part by kicking Cindy Axne out of office) which means that Nancy Pelosi can no longer ram gun control out of that chamber!
It’s true, there are plenty of RINOs in the House who could still betray us, but Biden’s ability to snap his fingers and push a bill through that chamber is largely over.
But that’s where the good news ends.
Because while Biden lost control of the House, he now has complete control of the United States Senate — and Senate approval is all Biden needs to pass the U.N. Small Arms Treaty!
That’s right.
Finding it difficult to ban AR-15s or pass a national gun registry through Congress, Joe Biden is doing everything he can to get revenge on gun owners by fast-tracking the U.N. Small Arms Treaty though the United States Senate!
This is not drill.
The State Department recently informed the United Nations that Joe Biden will officially add America as a ‘signatory’ to this treaty — the critical first step towards a ratification vote!

President Trump removed America from this treaty in 2019. This enraged Communist China, and they attacked Trump in an attempt to change his mind. Of course, that didn’t happen.
But with ‘China Joe’ Biden in the White House now, all bets are off.
That’s why I hope that you will immediately sign your position in opposing the U.N. Small Arms Treaty — so Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst know where you stand!
And the way things are moving in D.C., you need to hurry.
The implications of a fully ratified U.N. Small Arms Treaty are staggering. And while the full document is still being finalized, at a minimum we know that the treaty would:
>>> Establish a global firearm registry that would track the ‘end user’ of every single rifle, shotgun, and handgun sold in the world through an international database!
Joe Biden gave the Taliban over $85 BILLION in advanced American military hardware two years ago, but he wants to force gun owners here into an international gun registry.
>>> Require that any disputes over the implementation or the enforcement of the treaty be adjudicated by an international tribunal of nations!
I don’t know about you, but the thought of dictators and despots around the globe making decisions regarding the limits of Americans’ Second Amendment rights is enraging.
>>> Establish a clearing house for ‘sample legislation’ that member nations would be expected to use to make sure that national laws comply with the terms of the treaty.
In other words, the Chinese would expect us to shred our Second Amendment and replace it with legislation that is ‘more appropriate to the international community.’
This is absolute madness!
No American President should even consider this! But Joe Biden is a globalist, and he wants to use the U.N. Small Arms Treaty to disarm the only free people left on the fact of the earth.
The reason is simple. These people hate this great country.
They hate the freedoms that it was built on. And they hate the fact that our Founding Fathers gave us a Second Amendment in case our own government ever turned on us.
(Chinese President Xi Jinping is hell bent on seeing an international gun treaty used against the American people!)
But Joe Biden and the Radical Left aren’t the only ones who desperately want to disarm the American people with this treaty.
Communist China is determined to bring Americans to our knees because as long as we’re still a free people, we inspire hope to oppressed people around the world!
Think this could never happen here? Think again.
Joe Biden is the most vengeful President in our lifetime, openly calling conservatives and gun owners ‘domestic extremists’ and weaponizing federal law enforcement against us.
And this tyrant-in-chief would love nothing more than to disarm us through the U.N. Small Arms Treaty, while pleasing his globalist pals at the same time.
The only good news is that Joe Biden can’t ratify this treaty on his own; for that, he needs approval from the United States Senate.
And that’s why Iowa Gun Owners is mounting a massive grassroots program to flood Senators Grassley and Ernst with calls, emails, and petitions against this treaty!
We shouldn’t need to have to apply this much pressure. But the Joni Ernst of today isn’t the same Joni Ernst who I used to work with in the Iowa State Senate years ago.
Last year Ernst voted with every single Democrat to legalize gay marriage and accelerate the transgender war that is eating away at the soul of our kids.
Last year Ernst voted with the Radical Left to send FORTY BILLION DOLLARS to Ukraine, while America’s roads crumble and we can’t find the money to build a wall on our Southern border.
Last year Ernst was a joint sponsor with Dianne Feinstein on S. 3623, a nasty gun control bill Biden signed into law!
And last year Ernst voted three separate times to give Biden $750,000,000 to bribe states into passing ‘Red Flag’ laws!
At this point, Joni Ernst has violated almost every single campaign promise she has ever made. The only people ‘squealing’ are the Iowans who she has betrayed again and again.
Clearly, we can’t trust a word Phony Joni says. That’s why IGO is cranking up the heat RIGHT AWAY using:
- Hard-hitting digital and social media ads that we’ll boost across the state, ensuring that countless gun owners are aware of the UN Small Arms Treaty and take action!
- Utilizing our massive email and direct mail programs to mobilize IGO members and other gun owners! These programs are effective because they are largely uncensorable!
- Our ultra-effective text message program that allows us to put alerts right onto the cell phones of tens of thousands of gun owners at a moment’s notice!
And, if it becomes necessary, we will be preparing a massive radio ad campaign, too. It’s expensive, but radio ads work.
Every part of our program is designed for just one purpose: to inundate Senators Grassley and (especially) Ernst with grassroots pressure from across Iowa, making sure that they know that we expect them to ‘VOTE NO’ on the U.N. Small Arms Treaty!
To be clear, Ernst isn’t the only RINO we have to worry about.
Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, John Thune, and Rick Scott are actively pushing for ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ in the Senate right now — and almost a dozen more are supporting versions of ‘Universal Background Checks.’
So if Ernst comes out in favor of Biden’s United Nations Small Arms Treaty, it could create an avalanche of RINO support!
We need to push back now and hold the line.
