Do You Want to Shoot the Belt Fed M249 or the M16?

If you are attending the 2018 Iowa Gun Owners Membership Rally on June 16, you will face some tough decisions.

After all, with over 75 full-auto machine guns on site to test fire, which one will you shoot first?

The belt-fed M249 .223 light machine gun is always a crowd favorite, especially when you rock and roll with a 100-round belt in it!

Then again, for something a little lighter, the classic M16 is an absolute thrill — made even more so when you engage multiple targets using a full 30 round mag!

Having fired both of these at previous events, I can tell you that I was unable to decide and simply had to shoot both!

You likely will, too!

But to have the opportunity to test-fire these –- not to mention an additional 75 — full auto machine guns at our June 16 rally, you simply must register to attend using the link below!

I really hope you can make it.

Of course, it’s not just going to be a day of shooting the machine guns being provided by Jerry’s Machine Guns and Sure Shot Range in Mt. Auburn.

With our gun rights under attack in a way that we have not seen since 2013, it’s critical that grassroots gun owners stand together to protect our Second Amendment freedoms!

That’s why, in addition to giving you a chance to shoot some incredible firearms, you will have a chance to:

>>> Hear about Iowa Gun Owners’ targeted plan to hold anti-gun lawmakers accountable at election time, which has always been the backbone of our operation, as it terrifies lawmakers in Des Moines.

>>> Learn more about the fight for the Second Amendment in D.C., by hearing from our keynote speaker, a nationally known gun rights leader.

>>> Get an update on our fight to pass Constitutional Carry from some of the best pro-gun lawmakers in the Iowa legislature.

This is going to be the gun rights event of the year, so I hope you’ll make plans to attend immediately — all of the information is below!

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Location: Sure Shot Range, 1777 55th St, Mt. Auburn, IA

The event is free, but we need you to register here for free tickets so that we can make logistical arrangements

This is going to be an event for the whole family with food vendors and portable restroom facilities provided on site, so that you can make a day of it.

But don’t think that this event is only for those who want to shoot full-auto machine guns and talk about politics.

One of the highlights of this rally will be our pistol range (set a long distance away from the machine gun pit) where new and first-time shooters can get some hands-on experience shooting a defensive pistol.

Not only will we be providing an array of concealed carry handguns and some free ammo, this range will be run by Steve Smith and Double Action Defense!

Having sat through his training classes personally, I can assure you that all of your questions will be answered, and you’ll have a thorough understanding of the safe carry and use of a defensive handgun.

And right now, with the media and the education system and many lawmakers trying to demonize gun owners and the Second Amendment — it has never been more important to teach our love of the Second Amendment to the next generation!

That’s why I hope you’ll make plans to attend the Iowa Gun Owners Membership Rally with your entire family.

The event is being held in rural Mt. Auburn to facilitate the use of full-auto machine guns. But there are hotels in nearby Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids is close by as well, if you are coming from a distance.

You are free to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks. Also, please note that the machine gun range is in conjunction with, but separate from, the IGO rally — so you’ll need to bring cash to participate in the machine gun shoot.

And while some eye/ear protection will be available, it would be smart to grab your own from home.

Remember, while our rally is free to attend, we need you to register for your free tickets, so we can have a head count and make proper arrangements.

So sign up now!

For Freedom,

Aaron Dorr
Executive Director

P.S. When you attend the 2018 Iowa Gun Owners Membership Rally on June 16, one of the hardest choices you’ll face is which full-auto machine gun to test fire first — as there will be over 75 to choose from!

But to shoot these wonderful firearms and to hear about the fight for the Second Amendment here in Iowa and in Washington D.C., you have to attend the event later this summer!

To register for your FREE tickets to this event, please click here.

And please share this email and invitation with as many gun owners as possible, so they can proudly rally for the Second Amendment with us!
