This is breaking news, and I need you to take immediate action!
Late last night, IGO’s Second Amendment Preservation Act (HF-147) was referred to the House Judiciary Sub-Committee! More, the sub-committee will hear the bill at 4:00pm today!
With Biden’s Executive Orders set to take effect in just a few months, the pressure is mounting on the legislature to advance this bill before Iowa cops are forced to arrest gun owners.
But now that SAPA is headed to a sub-committee, pressure is mounting against this bill!
The League of Women Voters are trying to kill SAPA.
The Iowa Catholic Conference is trying to kill SAPA.
The Iowa Mental Health Council is trying to kill SAPA.
Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety is trying to kill SAPA.
We need to push back! Please take 60 seconds and leave your public statement of support for the Second Amendment Preservation Act directly on the sub-committee’s website!

As a member of Iowa Gun Owners, I am writing to urge you to VOTE YES on HF-147, the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA.)
Joe Biden is a tyrant. The pistol brace ban that he is mandating through Executive Orders will make felons out of tens of thousands of Iowans on May 31st of this year. Worse, Biden expects Iowa cops to enforce this tyrannical garbage on otherwise law-abiding Iowans!
SAPA asserts state sovereignty and denies Joe Biden the use of Iowa cops when it comes to enforcing federal gun control laws.
So while Joe Biden is free to use federal authorities to enforce federal gun control laws, Iowa’s law enforcement community will not be helping him do it.
SAPA has tremendous Supreme Court precedent and it’s law in Missouri, where it has survived multiple court challenges.
So on behalf of law abiding gun owners across Iowa, please advance HF-147 so that Iowans are protected from Joe Biden before it’s too late!

HF-147 would make it clear that Iowa cops work for Iowans, and that if Joe Biden wants to enforce federal gun control here in Iowa, he would need to use federal agents!
SAPA is on the move all over the country right now. But for it to make any progress in Iowa, it first needs to clear this sub-committee.
