Video Update with Rep. Jeff Shipley on SAPA!

With the opening week of the 2022 General Assembly behind us, the real work is beginning here in Des Moines.

As you know, Iowa Gun Owners is leading the fight for the Second Amendment Preservation Act(SAPA) which would shut down Joe Biden’s war against gun owners here in Iowa by requiring Iowa cops to enforce Iowa’s laws when it comes to firearms, ammunition, and accessories.

Today, we’re pleased to announce that Representative Jeff Shipley (R-Fairfield) is our lead sponsor on this legislation in the House this year!

Recently, Iowa Gun Owner’s Aaron Dorr produced this video update with Rep. Jeff Shipley talking about how SAPA works, answering the Supremacy Clause objections, and much more! Check it out below!

As you just heard, time is of the essence as Biden’s Executive Orders are expected to take effect in just a couple of weeks.

That’s why I hope you will send this PRE-WRITTEN email to your State Representative urging them to co-sponsor Rep. Shipley’s SAPA legislation.

Gun owners have accomplished a lot here in Iowa over the last couple of years, and some members of the legislature believe they have ‘done enough’ for gun owners for the time being.

That’s why your emails are so important. But that’s also why I must ask you for a generous donation to help IGO crank up the heat here in Des Moines.

So once you have sent in your emails, please consider a generous donation of $100, $75, $50, $25 — or whatever you can afford — to help us fight for SAPA.

We don’t have much time — please take action today!

For Iowa,

Aaron Dorr
Chairman
Iowa Gun Owners

P.S. State Rep. Jeff Shipley has agreed to be our lead sponsor on SAPA in the Iowa House this year!

Please watch the video update above to learn more about how you can help in the fight to make this become law here in Iowa.

But more importantly, send your state representative this PRE-WRITTEN email, urging them to co-sponsor this legislation today!
